Ross Wilson is Professor of the History and Theory of Criticism in the Faculty of English, University of Cambridge. He is the author, most recently, of Critical Forms: Forms of Literary Criticism, 1750–2020 (Oxford UP, 2023), and editor of Percy Shelley in Context (Cambridge UP, 2025). His essays on literary theory and criticism, and on the history of poetry, have appeared in New German Critique, New Literary History, English Literary History, European Romantic Review, and many other venues.
